Ansel Adams Post

Ansel Adams was a popular photographer during his time. Born to Charles Adams and Olivia Bray, Ansel grew up in San Francisco.  His mother was about 40 years old when she had him, so his parents were older than most. While he was young , there was an earthquake, which caused him to fall, breaking his nose and leaving it dis-formed. Before becoming a photographer Adams was a musician.  He taught himself how to play the piano at a young age, and later started taking lessons. He played the piano for years, but then gave it up to be a photographer. Before he went to private school, he was home schooled, but he was tortured but his father and his aunt. This resulted in Ansel getting a "legitimizing diploma" from a private school, but it was about the equivalent to passing the 8th grade. His first visualized photograph, monolith, Face of Half Dome, was taken in 1927.
I chose this picture because, it looks mysterious, and the contrast between the mountains and parts of the water is so drastic. The dark color of the water and the stillness gives this picture uneasy feeling, but it is a good feeling, ya know? The reflection of the mountains and trees are so clear and perfect looking, it amazes me that water could be so still.

Panorama Post

I  pick this one of New York City, because one day I hope to go and see what it is like in person. This picture shows the bright lights and busy streets of "The City That Never Sleeps". I think living in New York, or even just visiting would be the best experience to have in life.

I chose this panorama of Paris, because it is another place that I want to go and see. I love how you can see just about the whole town in one picture. You can see the Eiffel Tower, but it isn't the main focus of the picture. It captures the pure beauty of Paris and all the reason I want to go there one day.

Found Faces Story

Hello! We are the Bolt twins! I'm Polly, I am the top twin here. I live with my brother Paul, who likes to think he is better than me, but let's be real here, he isn't that great. We get along most of the time, but he is really sassy, so it is hard to be nice to him. Both of us are electricians, we are fascinated by electricity. We don't live with our parents anymore. They ran out of power years ago, so ever since then it has just been Paul and I. We really like listening to music. We have supplied energy to a ton of objects that produce music we really like. Something that we can do that nobody expects, is we can hold our breath underwater for 2 minutes. Ironic, right? Not everyone would think that power outlets could swim, it shocks them every time. Hah, see what I did there? Well, that's us, Polly and Paul Bolt. It was nice to meet you, and now you know a little about us, so don't be afraid to say hi sometime(:
